Lovey Survey

Its Thursday, I'm all caught up with school (well I could do some reading but...), so blogger has been consuming my morning! There are so many creative people on here! I could spend the whole day looking at blogs!

In baby news, we have one active baby in here! I could seriously feel it roll around! Its an amazing feeling! I can't wait to feel it more and more as the weeks go by! We'll find out if were having a little girl or boy on Monday. Most people think it will be a boy! I originally thought it was going to be a boy, but for the past month or so I've been thinking girl! Vic woke up this morning saying he had a nightmare that we had a baby girl! LOL! I asked him if she looked like him, because in all of my dreams she has looked IDENTICAL to him! So we are anxious needless to say to find out! Our families are coming over for dinner on Monday night for the big reveal! First we will be having cupcakes that will be dyed with either blue or pink! Then we'll have dessert! I haven't quite decided yet whats for dinner, but I better think of something soon!

I truely love my husband, and I am so incredibly greatful to have him in my life! Our child will be blessed to be a part of such a loving relationship!

What is his name?
Victor

How long have you been together? Since late August of 2006, and we were happily married on September 5th of 2009.

Who eats more? Vic, even though I'm five months pregnant LOL. He loves my cookin'

Who said I love you first? I know this sounds wrong, but its hard for me to remember. I am almost positive Vic said it first around late October of 2006, but I'm sure he would say that I said it first =) which is a likely option!

Who is taller? Vic is probably a foot taller than me! He has a nice view of my pretty smile looking up to him on a constant basis =)

Who sings better? Me =) Vic doesn't sing too much and when he does its normally something silly! I on the other hand catch myself singing when I'm working or doing chores! I'm sure it drives people at dream dinners nuts!

Who is smarter? I would say Vic is wiser, and I am smarter! Well, it depends what you are talking about that. We are both smart in our own expertises. For him its money, cars, etc. For me its cooking, house duties, health, and practical daily things.

Who does the laundry? Its shared! We normally fold the laundry together =) I am sooo lucky!

Who does the dishes? Its shared! If I cook, Vic cleans, and vice versa! Sometimes I'll do the dishes if he empties the dishwasher.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Vic does, but we mostly meet up in the middle =)

Who pays the bills? Vic

Who mows the lawn? Lucky us we don't have one!

Who cooks dinner? I do =) Well, me and Dream dinners cook dinner! Vic will sometimes cook Hamburger helper, but we haven't had that in a long time! I enjoy cooking though, and baking too =)

Who drives when you are together? Vic all the time, every time! He's an amazing driver!

Who is more stubborn? OOOO Vic for sure! he may say me though hahah

Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? I do, I overly admitt/apologize when I'm wrong! Especially to him!

Whose parents do you see the most? Probably mine! They live right down the street. But its not off by much!

Who kissed whom first? I waited for his lead!

Who proposed? Vic surprised the bajeebees out of me! We were wrestling around (something we used to do often before I got pregnant) and I had run to the bathroom real quick, when I came out I couldn't find him, so I got all revved up ready to attack as I was searching, and I turned the corner by our closet and he was down on one knee with a huge smile on his face =) it was the best surprise ever!

Who is more sensitive? Me

Who has more friends? Vic, we definately hang out with his friends the majority of the time. But they are awesome guys and I totally love having them as friends!

Who has more siblings? Equal , we are both one of three =)

Who wears the pants in the family? Vic, and rightfully so!

18 weeks

I haven't been good about posting, probably because I'm the only person who looks at this blog for now!

This week has been somewhat busy! I had two exams on Monday, and I did pretty well! Tuesday was honeydoo at Dream Dinners, Wednesday was class but took it pretty easy since we just finished an exam, Thursday i went on this INSANE cleaning spree because we were expecting friends Friday so I figured I better clean the house. It was getting pretty bad =( but now it looks brand new! Friday I had lunch with my hubby, then cleaned some more and made cupcakes!

Theres my bump!

Saturday we woke up and went to check out this townhouse. Its a two bedroom, actually two master suites! Its pretty nice, but the landlord needs to do some things before we agree to move in! Since monday is a holiday we'll probably find out more information on Tuesday. Our landlord was really helpful and were lucky to have him! After looking at the TH the Mary Kay lady came over to give Anna, Carol, and I makeovers! We looked absolutely gorgeous!

After the makeover we went to Glory Days for some wings (OMG they were SOOOO good), then came back home and made cards! We all three made the same card, and they all came out really beautiful! Later that night we had a dinner at Outback with Casey, Daniel, Carol, Vic, Lloyd, Mom, Mrs. Hellen, and me. It was nice to have everyone together! Wont get to see casey again till Thanksgiving =(.

As for today, we watched our friend Zak and Brittny's five week old son! I'll tell you what! It was good practice/good wakeup call as to what our future will entail! I asked Vic if he learned anything today, and he said "I learned how to get you when he starts crying!" LOL. I was pretty busy today, more tired than I am after a full day of work! He's a good guy though, just a newborn who likes to poop, cry, and walk around with me! I didn't realize how much physical attention they need! Rocking is a joke, walking around is more like it!

I have Monday off, but I'm using as a day to do some extra credit work and study for another exam I have this week! I think on Friday night I might have a crop night!

How far along? 18 weeks 6 days
Total weight gain: 6 lbs. none this month so far
Maternity clothes? yes every day this week. Can still fit into one pair of fat jeans, but barely!
Sleep: have been waking up again in the middle of the night to go pee.
Best moment this week: Feeling movement! I kept convincing myself it was gas because I didn't want to get my hopes up, but its definately the little baby
Movement: yes! first time this week!
Gender: not sure, will find out in eight days!!!
Labor Signs: none, and not any for a while
Belly Button in or out? In .
What I miss: I was offered a shot this week, and it would have been fun to take!
What I am looking forward to: Finding out if were having a little boy or girl!
Weekly Wisdom: Keep track of your online class, so you don't get behind! I took a week vacation from my online class because the teacher didn't post the exam until the following week, so now I've been turning assigments in a week late and getting no credit for A assignments. Its partially teachers fault, but I will take the blame for not carefully examing the dates =(
Milestones: feeling the baby move. It feels like a goldfish is swimming in my tummy!

Thats all for now!

Finally a chance to update!

We had a busy week last week! I had an OB appointment on Thursday and everything is going great! I didn't gain any weight last month, which is OK since I gained 6 lbs over our wedding month! The baby is measuring one week ahead which gives me the feeling that were going to have a big baby on our hands! I got to hear the heartbeat again, which is still rolling at 160! I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday, October 19th so hopefully we will find out if this bean is a boy or girl! We can't wait to be able to see the baby for the first time!!

Friday I had a wonderful lunch with Becky at Olive Garden. We were there for about three hours! It had been since the wedding since I'd last seen her, so we had lots of catching up to do!

After Olive Garden I came home and did MASSIVE amounts of laundry, before Momma came to pick me up to go to Radford! They were having family week, so we went down for Casey! It is a beautiful campus! I wish I took my camera with me to take pictures of the Highlander fest! There were men in quilts and all! It was nice to meet all her friends that I hear so much about! Sunday we woke up a bit earlier than the college students, so we went to Clater lake for a bit. It was sooo adorable to see Buttercup running in the sand! I took some beautiful pictures which are following! I LOVE the trees, they've already started turning there!

My favriote picture! Look at them going!!

Buttercup, Momma, and I

I am 17 weeks, and 6 days in this picture! The angle is horrible though! I look HUGE!

Just a cute thank you card I made with some scraps left over from the Engagement Wall piece!

Hoping to get some more scrapping done soon! It will be much easier after we move because i REALLY need to get organized, and moving is the best time for that! I have been frequenting Michaels a lot since they give me those darn coupons its hard to resist!

Everyone!!

Life in the Muñoz household has been really good this week! Mr. Husband has been working hard this week, and has been missing his poor xbox! Its supposed to be coming in next Tuesday, so he's been dusting, and turning in old games for new. I've been joking about how he's getting ready for the "baby" to come home! LOL

People have been so generous to us lately! Jill from sb.com posted about having extra scrapbook stuff so I emailed her and she's sending me a pack of embellishments which is SUPER cool because I think she's SOOOO talented with embellishments, so I'm excited! My friend Shirley from class gave me a fetal heart monitor and maternity clothes on Monday! They are super cute and I've already started wearing them! The monitor won't work until I hit the third trimester, but the husband and I have been playing around with it a little because we can hear the baby moving! A customer from DD is also giving me maternity clothes and a travel system, and possibly more this week so I'm SUPER greatful for everyone's help! On Thursday we have our next OB appointment where we'll get the results from my glucose and tri screen test. I'm really looking forward to hear our little babies heart beat again though!

I had a super busy week this week. I worked/had school every morning and afternoon except for Thursday morning, which I actually had to take a test so I didn't really have it off. I got a 96% which is pretty sweet though =). I've also been doing some extra reading/studying because my next NAS exam is October 5th and I did REALLY bad on the last exam, so I am NOT letting that happen again! But other than this, school is going really well! I absolutely LOVE my psychology class, my teacher is awesome! I am very interested in this class, may take more classes like it online next semester =)

I've been itching to scrap so I got down and dirty this afternoon and made about six cards and one wall mural with our Engagement pictures on it! It looks absolutely beautiful!

Engagement Pictures

I LOVE those little cupcakes!

kind of a masculine card

For all the people who have helped us so much lately!

This was pre-wedding before all the confetti, candles, and table settings!

A bit of updating

So I haven't posted in a while =( momma reminded me the other day!

Spring semester is finished with a 3.5 I got two A's and one B (I was three points away from an A) but I was pretty satisfied with the "Good Standing" statement!

Today was the first day of my Anatomy/Physiology/Microbiology class which is compressed to twelve weeks. This is going to take up my entire summer, but at least I'm already prepared. I get to practice notifying all the parts of the body...FUN!

I put some new pictures up on myspace yesterday.

These are tissue paper flowers that I made for a possible wedding ceremony table centerpiece

We had a wonderful Mother's Day, took Mom to the DC RollerGirls Rollerderby competition where our team won! GO DEMON CATS!

Well I will hopefully be able to post more now that I'm not taking as many classes

HAPPY SUMMER!

Momma's Party

On the way home from the wedding I found out my mom was throwing a party for the neighbor who returned home from Iraq. We didn't make it until the very end because of traffic but it sounded like it was a great time! It was nice to see Mom, Carol, and Anette!

Buttercup was so cute laying on mom's feet while she was talking to Grandma!
Buttercup listening to Vic!
Aw, she is soooo cute!

Mom got really excited when I confirmed our QUEEN FOR THE DAY plans. For Mother's Day, mom wanted to go see a Roller Derby match, so Casey and I researched it! It just so happens that DC Armory ladies roller derby is having a tournament that Saturday! When I told Mom about it she got so excited! I can't wait to see this! Its going to be AWESOME!

Wedding Post

This weekend we went to Jon and Anna's wedding. Jon is a good college friend of Vic, and it was so great to be able to hang out with all of his college buddies!

We left for Philly on Friday right after work, and arrived around nine thirtyish. We went to this awesome bar, that had 10 cent wings! They were SOOO good! I really enjoyed meeting Justin time and his girlfriend!

We stayed at Rick's mom's house and woke up the next morning to get ready for the wedding. We met up with Jess, Rick's girlfriend on the way and took some beautiful pictures at her house!

The wedding ceremony was beautiful! Anna is gorgeous, and we wish them the most happiness! Vic really liked the Preacher, he was easy to listen to, and had wonderful readings! We definitely were inspired by their wedding ceremony. After the wedding there was about a three hour break before the reception, we were a little hungry so we went to Hooters =D, and took some pictures on the way

After Hooters, we checked into the hotel, and got ready for the reception (and after party ;D..) The reception was located at a newly renovated Holiday Inn. Before the doors opened there was a huge hallway that we mingled in for about an hour. There was an open bar, and servers with amazing appetizers (crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops, etc.) We got a chance to meet some new people, as well as catch up with old friends!

When the doors opened for the Reception, it felt like you were walking into a fairytale! There were flowers, candles, and bows on every chair, at every table. The decorations were beautiful! There was a dance floor right in the center, with the head table on one side, and a dj booth on the other. We had a very nice prime rib for dinner, and a great tomatoe/mozzarella appetizer. The bar from previously had been shut down, and the windows opened on the other side, it was like inside of the wall! We thought that was awesome! We really enjoyed the reception.

Anna and Jon's first dance!

Vic, Greg, and Rick LOL

This is a view of the table

We had so much fun!

They are so cute!
Hanging out with the groom!
I LOVE this picture!

Can you tell I had a good time?!?!

On the way home, we were saying how we had fun every second of the weekend! It was an awesome time, and we can't wait to see everybody again! Congratulations Jon and Anna!
